The exhibition is held in the private house of Nobuo Iseki, which is two-storied and a triangle shape seems like a piece of one-sixteen divided short cake, and it has only an area of 10 tsubo(around 33 m2). This house has a representation of Japanese housing condition in Tokyo, therefore the house trembles as the cars cross over the highway, and even it seems like to be fallen down by strong winds. In this house, there are many ideas for living in a limited space, and applying to the maximum utilities. ISEKI-PARK is the exhibition that it has reverences for the representative house is situated in the sever condition in the city environment of Tokyo. Nobuo Iseki, an artist and owner of the house, who is looking at the theme of skate boarding and urban theory fo r his own project. Therefore he takes photography for Skateboarding magazine as a profession, he crosses between sports; especially “Xtreme-sports” and art to create the works. At the first floor, an urban research project called “route 4” is currently focusing on the National Highway no.4 is around between Nihonbashi and Aomori, is represented in the room as an interim report. A bicycle showroom is simulated in the room, because they believe that a bicycle is aconvenient transportation and is to keep clean without exhaust gas in the city life. At the second floor (6 tatami mats), a skateboard park is set in which banks and rails are metaphors of obstacles for steps of streets, inclinations, and balusters to play skateboard in the cityscape. Therefore, this park is replaced as the best vision for idealized skateboard as same as town planning in metaphysical urban environment. As the final event, a competition of Skateboarding as the ISEKIT-CUP is held at the last day. Bathroom is fixed as a DJ booth to use a characterized space by Noriaki Kohda. Finally, the whole installation is the exhibition of “ISEKIT-PARK”. Eric Maillet, a French artist is participating as a guest to show his video work: “Geometric Abstract” for a special project of FIFA World Cup.
